Aurora lights

Kia ora bloggers,

This Friday for art we have been learning about the north and south auroras also referred to as the aroura Borealis (Northern lights) and Aurora Australis (Southern lights) these light would probably be the most beautiful sight you have laid your eyes on. These lights are made by the magnetic fields surrounding the northern and southern poles. The sun has auroras that travel 780km per second. Other planets in our galaxy also have their own arouras at there north and south pole.

We have made art that has the aurora and a silhouette of a mountain and we used pastel chalk for the lights.
Somebody put their artwork over top of mine and smudged Matariki, but I think it still looks good.
