Covid-19 task why no purple flags?

Hey team,

today for our second Friday task we had to watch a video explaining why countries have no purple flag the reason is that the purple die was expensive and only the royal family could wear purple. we got asked some questions so here are the questions and the answers:

Why didn't countries use the colour purple on their flags? Is the same reason still true? What does a flag represent? If you could design a flag to represent you what would it have on it? How about your family? What is important to the people in your bubble? 

Design your own flag for your house. Think of the different people that make up your bubble, the different personalities and what would be a good representation of you all.

the countries didn't have purple on their flags because the dye was considered royal spiritual and expensive. the reason is not still true because purple is now cheap and some countries that have purple on their flags. I think a flag represents where you come from. my family likes surfing and going to the beach my flag would probably be black with a blue cross, surfboard and medical enamel.
