Covid-19 Anzac cookies... sort of

As most of you guys know Anzac day was here. My brother decided to make Anzac cookies which I thought was very sweet of him. When I was doing my work he surprised me with a treat, Anzac cookies... sort of

Covid-19 Tasks Wizard of oz minecraft

The task for today was to make a creation whether it was on paper on a computer or on Minecraft. The creation we had to make was oz. We had to make oz in our perspective. I did my creation on Minecraft. here is my world;

Covid -19 Anzac day task lanterns

Hey team,

As most of you know Anzac day is coming up. I made two lanterns that we can light on Anzac day. The prime minister Jacinda Ardern said that on Saturday at 6:00 am we all should stand at our mailboxes for the soldiers that died that day. Here are my lanterns:

As you can see there are poppies on each side of the lanterns and a cross on each side of the lanterns that have written on it L.W.F that stands for 'Least we forget' I hope you liked it please let me know in the comments below.

Covid-19 tasks what it means to have a 'Brain'

Kia ora team,

Today our online task that we had to complete was we had to write what it means to have a 'Brain' In our characters traits they have different personalities. The Scarecrow has no brain or at least he thinks he has no brain. The Scarecrow does most of the thinking for the crew. The Tinman has no heart or at least he thinks he has no heart. When he stepped on a beetle he started crying. The Lion has no courage but when he said that he would jump with the scarecrow across the step ditch he showed courage. Here is what I put down;

This is what I think a brain is to me it gives my body function and helps me think. i hope you liked it.

First of all, just a big thank you to the front line workers the doctors and the police and the people that work in supermarkets. Today my math task from Mrs Davies is to make a slide explaining the different parts of a circle. I made An animation that showed the information I hope you enjoy it.

Covid-19 tasks Design yo' witch

Yesterday we were set a task to design our own witch. Draw it and make the creepiest back story of it and why it is an antagonist. An antagonist is a bad guy the protagonist is a good guy. my witch was called Evanora and here is the creepy back story.

This witch's name is or should I say was melody, she use to be a girl but when her parents died in a tragic fire that was made by her she turned into Evanora. she lives in the darkest of forests she, I mean it creeps up on people slowly and says boo this might not sound scary but when it says boo the people disappear so think twice about when going into a forest. The last sight seen of her was when her brother watched her light the fire. Some say she lit the fire because she was angry some say she was a devel and some even claim that she was never even born.

Covid-19 task timetable

Hey team,

What we have done today for our COVID-19 task were to make a timetable for our literacy tasks. this was surprisingly not easy. I think that might be because of the long holidays being inside. Here is my timetable.

at the moment we are doing studies on the book; The wizard of oz. As you can see there are no tasks for Monday and Tuesday that's because of the Easter holidays. have you got a planner for your work?

Today I have completed sudoku, this was quite challenging because it was online I prefer it to be on paper. My level of difficulty at the moment is on easy but the more sudoku I do, the harder I want to challenge my self by going up a level.

Covid-19 task Green fingers

Yesterday we were quite bored so we ended up going and getting a trailer load of soil and some vegetables. First, we had to dig out a flower bed for the soil to go into. We drove down the road to our friend's house. They own a farm so they have lots of soil. They unlocked their gate and let us take some of the soil from their soil heaps.

We loaded the potting soil into the beds and then dug little holes for the plants to go into. I asked my dad if I could plant the vegetables in the soil and he said: "yes, sure". I first asked him what vegetables go into what holes. I started with lettuce and ended with tomatoes. we planted lots of vegetables and we found a lot of weeds but it was fun and we did get vegetables for free.
